PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH:

Grundy County Health Department offers mental health services to adolescents of families meeting income eligibility standards.  The department also offers immunizations and health screenings, administers programs for pregnant women and young families, and helps low-income families obtain health insurance. The health department is located in the Grundy County Administration Center, 1320 Union St., Morris.  www.grundyhealth.com

Breaking Free, Inc., assists adolescents who may be using drugs and/or alcohol, offering education and counseling to adolescents and their families, and referrals to treatment, when necessary.  Contact Kristie Polk, CADC, at (815) 260-7902 or (815) 941-0724.
